A Contemporary Video Artist ..

Gabriel Orenstein, a renowned contemporary video artist, born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1959. In 1987, he moved to Miami, FL, where he continues to reside and create. As a multidisciplinary artist, Orenstein consistently integrates video and painting, treating video film as an extension of his vibrant paintings.

Orenstein continuously explores the roots and discovers the meaning behind every idea. Meditation is one of his most powerful tools, allowing him to visualize and translate experiences into stunning video art.

His motion images emerge in segments, with sequences forming conceptual compositions. He trusts his intuition, letting it guide his creative process.

As a creator, Orenstein believes that everyone carries an inner map leading to their consciousness. He perceives that every image can be animated and transformed into any imaginable expression. His unique perspective brings a dynamic, animated quality to his work, setting him apart in the contemporary art platform.

A video explained Orenstein’s conviction that art in motion has existed in the human mind since prehistoric times. This belief is evident in his work, where movement and imagery connect seamlessly.

His exclusive pieces are a testament to Orenstein’s innovative approach to contemporary video art.

In my perspective, art has a profound power to transcend reality into the depths of the subconscious, where dreams and imagination collide. From vivid strokes of a brush on canvas to the narratives brought to life in film, this exploration of the unknown fuels my creative endeavors. Each stroke, each frame captures a glimpse into the strange and inexplicable aspects of existence, provoking the observer to confront their perceptions and embrace the ambiguity of our collective human experience. “
