Time Race” | Artist Statement

In the Time Trace video art, archaeological fragments appear as carriers of time. Their surfaces resemble inscriptions, traces of memory more than physical matter. A lonely human figure moves through them, entering a silent exchange between history and imagination. The surreal does not escape from reality. Instead, it acts as a portal connecting the preserved with what is possible.

The sound design plays a central role in the environment. Time becomes a sensed experience, not only an image. The soundscape does not accompany the video; it activates it. Ultimately, the viewer is encouraged to encounter time as an active present, rather than a record of the past.
