Alexandre Frangioni: Exodus in NY
June 1-28th, 2023
In collaboration with Chashama, South Art Projects presented Exodus in NY, a solo exhibition featuring a powerful site-specific installation by contemporary Brazilian artist Alexandre Frangioni. Pictured here is the artist’s conceptual discourse brought to life, fusing two iconic series of his production: Exodus and Codes.
The exhibition explored the intersection of global financial markets and human migration. Alongside this grand installation, Frangioni’s three-dimensional fine art sculptures (spanning 2016–2023) intrigued collectors and audiences alike, sparking vital dialogue about how the “American Way of Life” and economic systems affect multicultural societies.
